Dave is a men’s pattern for sizes 42–66. The pattern is for a bomber jacket that is airy and comfortable, with a dropped shoulder seam. Fully lined, making the inside just as neat as the outside.

The pattern includes three different base models: a basic version (Model A) and two versions that allow for color blocking (Model B and C). You can combine various options such as a chest pocket and side pocket with zipper or with flap. In total, 18 different combinations.

Digital Download (PDF)
PDF patterns are printed by you at home. The product can be downloaded immediately after purchase and will also be delivered to your email. All pattern files include size layers, allowing you to select exactly the size(s) you need. Each PDF pattern includes:

- Print-at-home file in A4 format
- Projector file
- A digital step-by-step instruction guide

The print-at-home file contains 34 pages.

NOTE: PDF patterns may not be copied, sold, or given away.

Printed Pattern
The physical pattern includes:
- Two pattern sheets with all sizes included
- An A5 booklet with clear, step-by-step instructions

Everything is packaged in an attractive A5-format package that both protects and keeps the pattern together.

Materials and fabric consumption

The pattern is designed for woven fabrics for the entire jacket, except for the cuffs.
Suggested fabrics:
- For the outer jacket: denim, cotton twill, cotton canvas, or wool fabrics.
- For the lining: acetate or viscose lining, cotton poplin, satin, or microfleece.
- For the cuffs: rib knit or ribbed cuff fabric.

Fabric requirements:
The amount of fabric needed will vary depending on which model and size you are sewing. Here is an approximate guide to how much fabric you will need (based on a fabric width of 140 cm / 55"):

OUTER JACKET
Model A: approx. 130–190 cm (51 ⅛–74 ¾")
Model B: Fabric 1: approx. 130–160 cm (51 ⅛–63")
Model C: Fabric 1: approx. 130–150 cm (51 ⅛–59")
Fabric 2: approx. 70–120 cm (27 ½–47 ¼")

LINING: approx. 140–190 cm (55–74 ¾")

CUFFS: approx. 50 cm (19 ¾")

Keep in mind that fabrics made from natural fibers, such as cotton, may shrink during the first wash. It’s a good idea to purchase a little extra fabric to ensure you have enough.
