Mix & match your favorite – when you buy at least two patterns from the Lotta series you get a 10% discount!

  • Size 34-56
  • Beginner-friendly ★☆☆☆☆

Lotta is a loose-fitting dress pattern with plenty of variation options, available in sizes 34–56.
It’s designed with upcycling in mind and works beautifully with secondhand fabrics like duvet covers, curtains or tablecloths.

This updated version includes two neckline options – one shallow and one deep – so you can tailor the look to suit your style and the occasion.
You also get three sleeve lengths (short, 3/4 and long) and two skirt styles: a gathered skirt and a tiered skirt with two tiers. Both skirts can be made in a slim or full version, with the full skirt styles perfect for wearing over a full petticoat.

The pattern includes two types of pockets: inseam pockets sewn into the sides of the skirt, and visible patch pockets as a decorative feature.

The updated pattern now comes in a compact A5 format that’s easy to store and practical to use while sewing.

Materials and fabric consumption

The pattern is designed to be sewn with woven fabrics, preferably recycled. The dress can also be sewn in knit fabrics, but please go down 2 sizes.

Materials you need:
- Fabric, preferably recycled fabrics such as duvet covers, curtains or why not tablecloths.

Fabric usage:
The amount of fabric you need varies depending on the model and size you are sewing in. A duvet cover is more than enough for a dress. But here is a rough estimate of how much fabric you need. (Calculated on a fabric width of 140cm):

- Size 34-38 approx. 160-320 cm
- Size 40-44 approx. 190-320 cm
- Size 46-50 approx. 190-320 cm
- Size 52-56 approx. 230-350 cm

Keep in mind that fabrics with natural fibers such as cotton tend to shrink in the first wash. Therefore, it is advisable to buy a little extra so that the fabric is sufficient.
