Lotta Remake dress is a loose fit women's pattern with several variations available in sizes 34-56. The pattern is intended to be used for recycled fabrics such as duvet covers or tablecloths. You can put your personal touch on the garment by varying the sleeve type, skirt and with or without pockets. The pattern contains an educational sewing description and a pattern sheet that is neatly packaged in a folder.
Pattern variations:
The pattern includes three different sleeve lengths (short, 3/4 length and long) and 4 different skirts; two tight skirts with less gathers (gathered skirt & ruffled skirt with two panels) and two wide skirts that are suitable for those who want to use, for example, a full petticoat (gathered skirt & ruffled skirt with two panels). The pattern also includes hidden pockets sewn into the side of the skirt and visible pockets.
The pattern is designed for woven fabric but can be sewn in knitwear, but then with a smaller size than what is stated in the size chart.

Materials and fabric consumption
Materials and fabric consumption
The pattern is designed to be sewn with woven fabrics, preferably recycled. The dress can also be sewn in knit fabrics, but please go down 2 sizes.
Materials you need:
- Fabric, preferably recycled fabrics such as duvet covers, curtains or why not tablecloths.
Fabric usage:
The amount of fabric you need varies depending on the model and size you are sewing in. A duvet cover is more than enough for a dress. But here is a rough estimate of how much fabric you need. (Calculated on a fabric width of 140cm):
- Size 34-38 approx. 160-320 cm
- Size 40-44 approx. 190-320 cm
- Size 46-50 approx. 190-320 cm
- Size 52-56 approx. 230-350 cm
Keep in mind that fabrics with natural fibers such as cotton tend to shrink in the first wash. Therefore, it is advisable to buy a little extra so that the fabric is sufficient.
